80th Anniversary

A message to the Choir

In 2015, to mark Welwyn Garden City Male Voice Choir's 80th Anniversary, Bryn sent the Choir the following message.

Neges gan Bryn

Am garreg filltir i'r Côr gyrraedd 80 o flynyddoedd. Anhygoel i feddwl yr holl waith caled i baratoi a dysgu darnau newydd a pherfformio mewn amryw o gyngherddau dros y blynyddoedd. Sawl arweinydd, cyfeilydd ac wrthgwrs aeloda o'r Côr a'i gwaith caboledig. Heb os nac onibai cerddoriaeth yn creu y fath atgofion o'r gorffennol y presennol ac i'r dyfodol. Bydded iddo barhâu. Mwynhewch y dathlu!

English translation

What an impressive milestone for the choir to reach their 80th Anniversary! Incredible to think of the repertoire amassed, the concerts already performed and the hard work and dedication of conductors, accompanists and choristers. Long may it continue that music can form such incredible memories past, present and future. Enjoy the celebrations!
