Remembrance Sunday Service - Welwyn Garden City 2026
Welwyn Garden City Male Voice Choir is honoured to perform at the town's Remembrance Sunday service at the War Memorial in Howardsgate on Sunday 8 November 2026. Alongside Welwyn Garden City Band, we will join the local community, representatives of the services, ex-servicemen and women, and youth organisations to honour those who served and remember those who gave their lives. Through our music, we hope to offer a moment of reflection and remembrance. The parade will leave The Campus roundabout at 10:30am and proceed to the War Memorial, where the service will begin at 10:45am. The choir will perform as part of the service. The service will be attended by the Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield, Councillor Michal Siewniak, accompanied by Vice Lord-Lieutenant Anthony Chapman RD DL, Council Leader Councillor Rose Grewal and the Council's Chief Executive, Ka Ng.
