Rehearsals
We rehearse every Thursday at 7:30pm at St John's Primary School, Lemsford, AL8 7TR.
A modern choir with a proud tradition.
Welwyn Garden City Male Voice Choir has been making music and entertaining audiences since 1935.
Who we are
Proud of our roots, with music for today.
The choir was founded in 1935 by a group of Welshmen who had moved to Welwyn Garden City in search of work.
Welwyn Garden City Male Voice Choir enjoys singing music from a wide variety of genres and performing at local concerts and events. We are proud of our traditions and origins while embracing an eclectic range of music.
Our current repertoire includes songs from shows, spirituals, and traditional English, Scottish and Irish pieces. We also sing a number of songs in Welsh, maintaining a proud tradition that goes back to the Choir's early days.
And we usually include one or two numbers that may surprise you!
