Welcome to the "Singalong Section"!

1. Deck The Halls

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

‘Tis the season to be jolly,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Don we now our gay apparel,

Fa la la, la la la, la la la.

Troll the ancient Yuletide carol,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

See the blazing Yule before us,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Strike the harp and join the chorus.

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Follow me in merry measure,

Fa la la, la la la, la la la.

While I tell of Yuletide treasure,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Fast away the old year passes,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Hail the new, ye lads and lasses,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Laughing, quaffing, all together,

Fa la la, la la la, la la la.

Heedless of the wind and weather,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

2. Winter Wonderland (choir version)

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?

In the lane, snow is glistening

A beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight

Walkin’ in a winter wonderland

Gone away is the bluebird,

here to stay is a new bird

He sings a love song, as we go along

Walkin’ in a winter wonderland

In the meadow we can build a snowman

And pretend that he is Parson Brown

He’ll say are you married, we’ll say “no man”

But you can do the job when you’re in town!

Later on we’ll conspire as we dream by the fire

To chase unafraid the plans that we made

Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland!

3. Away In A Manger

Away in a manger, No crib for a bed

The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head

The stars in the bright sky looked down where

He lay The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay

The cattle are lowing, the Baby awakes

But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes

I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky

And stay by my side, until morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay

Close by me forever and love me I pray

Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care

And fit us for heaven to live with Thee there.

4. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

You better watch out, you better not cry

Better not pout, I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list, and checking it twice;

Gonna find out who's naughty and nice.

Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping

He knows when you're awake

He knows if you've been bad or good

So be good for goodness sake!

O! You better watch out! You better not cry.

Better not pout, I'm telling you why.

Santa Claus is coming, Santa Claus is coming

Santa Claus is coming to town.

5. Good King Wenceslas

Good King Wenceslas looked out on the feast of Stephen,

When the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even.

Brightly shone the moon that night, though the frost was cruel,

when a poor man came in sight, gathering winter fuel.

(B/B)Hither, page, and stand by me. If thou know it telling:

Yonder peasant, who is he? Where and what his dwelling?

(T) Sire, he lives a good league hence, underneath the mountain,

Right against the forest fence by Saint Agnes fountain.

(B/B) Bring me flesh, and bring me wine. Bring me pine logs hither.

Thou and I will see him dine when we bear the thither.

(All) Page and monarch, forth they went, forth they went together

through the rude wind's wild lament and the bitter weather.

(T) Sire, the night is darker now, and the wind blows stronger.

Fails my heart, I know not how. I can go no longer.

(B/B) Hark my footsteps my good page, tread thou in them boldly:

Thou shalt find the winter's rage freeze thy blood less coldly.

In his master's step he trod, where the snow lay dinted.

Heat was in the very sod which the saint had printed.

Therefore, Christian men, be sure, wealth or rank possessing,

ye who now will bless the poor shall yourselves find blessing.

6. It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Everywhere you go;
Take a look in the five-and-ten, glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Toys in every store,
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be on your own front door.

A pair of hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots is the wish of Barney and Ben;
Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk is the hope of Janice and Jen;
And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Everywhere you go;
There's a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well,
The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas; soon the bells will start,
And the thing that will make them ring is the carol that you sing
right within your heart.

7. In The Bleak Midwinter

In the bleak mid-winter, frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow,
In the bleak mid-winter, long ago.

Our God, Heaven cannot hold Him, nor earth sustain;
Heaven and earth shall flee away when He comes to reign:
In the bleak mid-winter, a stable-place sufficed
The Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ.

Angels and archangels may have gathered there,
Cherubim and seraphim thronged the air,
But only His mother in her maiden bliss,
Worshipped the Beloved with a kiss.

What can I give Him, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb,
If I were a wise man I would do my part,
Yet what can I give Him, give my heart.

8. Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree

Rockin' around the Christmas tree at the Christmas party hop
Mistletoe hung where you can see every couple tries to stop
Rockin' around the Christmas tree, let the Christmas spirit ring

Later we'll have some pumpkin pie and we'll do some carolin'
You will get a sentimental feelin' when you hear
Voices singing, "Let's be jolly", deck the halls with boughs of holly

Rockin' around the Christmas tree, have a happy holiday
Everyone dancing merrily in the new old-fashioned way
You will get a sentimental feelin' when you hear
Voices singing, "Let's be jolly", deck the halls with boughs of holly

Rockin' around the Christmas tree, have a happy holiday
Everyone dancing merrily in the new old-fashioned way

9. O Come All Ye Faithful

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant!
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem;
Come and behold him, born the King of Angels:
O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.

God of God, Light of Light,
Lo, he abhors not the Virgin’s womb;
Very God, Begotten, not created:
Sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation,
Sing, all ye citizens of Heaven above!
Glory to God In the highest:

O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him,O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord.

10. White Christmas (Choir only)

11. The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an open fire)

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir and folks dressed up like Eskimos
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe, help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow will find it hard to sleep tonight

They know that Santa's on his way,
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy to see if reindeer really know how to fly

And so I'm offering this simple phrase to kids from one to 92
Although it's been said many times many ways, Merry Christmas to you
.

12. Ding Dong Merrily On High

Ding dong! merrily on high, in heav’n the bells are ringing:
Ding dong! verily the sky is riv’n with Angel singing.
Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis!
Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis!
E’en so here below, below,, let steeple bells be swungen,
And “Io, io, io!” by priest and people sungen.
Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis!
Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis!
Pray you, dutifully prime your matin chime, ye ringers;
May you beautifully rime your evetime song, ye singers.
Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis!
Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis!

13. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen

But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glowed
All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games

Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say
“Rudolph with your nose so bright, won’t you guide my sleigh tonight”
Then how the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer you’ll go down in history

14. Silent Night

Silent Night! Holy Night! All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in Heavenly Peace, sleep in Heavenly Peace

Silent Night! Holy Night! Shepherds first saw the sight
Glories stream from Heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia
Christ the Saviour is born, Christ the Saviour is born

Silent Night! Holy Night! Son of God, love’s pure light
Radiance beams from thy Holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth, Jesus, Lord at Thy birth

15. Frosty The Snowman

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul,
With a corncob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say
He was made of snow but the children know how he came to life one day

There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head he began to dance around

Oh, Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play just the same as you and me

Ooh Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day
So he said, "Let's run and we'll have some fun now before I melt away."
Down to the village with a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square, saying "catch me if you can!"
He led them down the streets of town right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when he heard him holler "Stop!"

Oh, Frosty the snowman had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye, saying "Don't you cry, I'll be back again someday."
Thumpety thump thump, Thumpety thump thump - Look at Frosty go
Thumpety thump thump, Thumpety thump thump - Over the hills of snow

16. Hark The Herald Angels Sing

Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King,
Peace on earth, and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled!”
Joyful, all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies;
With th’angelic host proclaim, “Christ is born in Bethlehem!”
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King!”

Christ, by highest heaven adored; Christ, the everlasting Lord;
Late in time behold him come, offspring of a virgin’s womb.
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; hail th’ incarnate Deity,
Pleased as man with man to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King!”

Hail the heaven-born Prince of Peace! Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all he brings, risen with healing in his wings.
Mild he lays his glory by, born that man no more may die,
Born to raise the sons of earth, born to give us second birth.
Hark! the herald angels sing, “Glory to the new born King!”

17. Jingle Bells
Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh
O’er the fields we go, laughing all the way
Bells on bobtails ring making spirits light
What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight, oh
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride on a one horse open sleigh, oh
Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride on a one horse open sleigh

Second verse, choir only
Repeat chorus
